General Conference Weekends are easily our favorite weekends of the year... they come twice a year, each spring and fall. We stay home and listen to inspired talks from our church leaders for four hours Saturday and four hours Sunday on TV or the radio... talks about the atonement, faith, repentance, service, prayer and other gospel principles. This gives us all a much needed lift for the next 6 months. You can find the recorded talks here. I promise... people of all faiths would find something they love about them.
Afterwards, we had dinner at our place with Larry's family. Homemade Cafe Rio Salads...so good. Topped with of course Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Dessert to fill in the cracks... a no leftovers kind of good. I sure love Larry's family, they are all just darn good people that I feel blessed to call family.
