clean eating

I came home and immediately jumped into our new way of life upon my arrival home. Chocolate from my trip was gone and it was time. Or at least it feels like it's time until the actual time comes. I always feel I should be at my goal by 11am the first day, or at least notice some definition in my neck. Sadly, not the case for me. I have a ways to go. Larry and I watched Dr. Oz 2 Week Rapid Weight Loss in January and thought we would drop sugar and wheat from our diet for 2 weeks. Day 10. I am down 15 pounds. I feel better, but it is hard to stay connected to life without the comfort foods I am use to. In our home, the gathering place is in the kitchen. We love to make good homemade food. Hopefully new habits will emerge in time. I did have to make some exceptions to his guidelines. Could not get down the green tea, no matter what brand I tried. Same with the drink in the morning. It is a texture thing for me. But I substituted other good choices. I have also started to take a probiotic each day. I am making a list of all the reasons why I want to lose weight and it's a long one. So far so good : )
