Falling Apart

Conrad and I got to spend time together today. He will be two in November and his terrible two - fall apart tantrums are coming into full swing. Today he struggled carrying four cars, plus his little ball. When he would drop one of them, he would instantly fall on the floor in total despair. The little guy was simply inconsolable. Instead of giving in today, I just left him alone and tried to re-direct. It was hard not to smile at him as he learns how to 'buck up' in life and work through these hard times... love him madly!

So cute! We know that look and that cry that says "this is the hardest anyone has ever had it!" Their "rough" life is so sweet! So grateful for little ones. I was at Pebbles today and FINALLY bought a scrapbook. I started working on it tonight and I'm so excited! I'll be in again soon. Love you

Little Conrad has "meltdowns" too. We are always better with rest, young and old alike...and a little care from our family and friends.
