It's hard to remember what our life was like before we were invaded by grandkids. We have traded the marginal amount of peace and quiet we had for boundless little kid energy, little lumps of kids sleeping here and there, fingerprints on the lower half of our walls again, sticky fingers and messy faces, chaos, wrestling, crumbs on the floor, scattered toys, plastic cups, reading children's books again, little requests of 'I want you to play with me', looking at life through their eyes, armfuls of babies, playing make believe and best of all... little kid hugs. We know we are blessed and wouldn't want it any other way... it is the best thing in the whole wide world.
