Afterwards, we went to Larry's Mom and Dad's and had a family BBQ and swim. Mike and Kathy are here from Wisconsin and it was a good day spent together, topped with homemade strawberry ice cream. Yum!

This is the Place...
We woke up to our Pioneer children's parade and homemade breakfast with our church family, one of our favorite activities. A cool morning breeze, lots of visiting, snow cones and dunking machines... 'This is the place' said Brigham Young when he came into the Salt Lake Valley and here we are! The pioneers sacrificed everything to settle this area and we are thankful for each of them this day. Utah is home and it has been a blessing to raise our family here.
