Fourth of July

America's birthday and we happily shared it with Larry's family with a BBQ, swim, card games, whiffle ball, homemade ice cream and plenty of visiting. A good turn out of 47. By the end of the day, some of us were thrown in fully clothed with shoes! It was a good day as we continue to feel grateful for those who founded our country and have fought for our freedoms through the years. I don't think we can begin to know of the sacrifice they make along with their families. It feels like we are at a turning point in this country of ours and I pray that we will all stand a little taller, be bolder and hold our leaders to a higher bar and demand that the constitution be honored for the inspired document that it is.
Love, Brenda
