Ok... we are a weird family

About a month ago, Katie & Kelsie sent out invites to attend their Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry party. We RSVP and excitedly looked forward to Sunday night. The dress? We were wizards that dressed like muggles. We had shredded beef tacos (Katie and I'm sure Harry Potter's favorite) and the girls made fun drinks, treats and pretzel wands. Ransom carved apple heads for the center piece. Paul came up with a Harry Potter mafia game, which he is still perfecting... it will be filled with all kinds of twist and turns. When I looked at everyone dressed up, especially the boys, I realized how weird our family is. What we think of as normal in a houseful of girls, is probably way strange to others. The girls have always been good at creating fun with the simple things... our happiest times.

Weird, maybe...it's all relative. Fun, creative, and happy to be together...for sure!

Girls are sure different than boys. My boys won't be planning a Hogwarts party for me to attend! Looks like you guys had so much fun dressing up, playing games and eating...a recipe for a good party. Did anyone perform a spell? Loved the apple faces. Sure miss you guys.
