Frog Funeral

Today was the day to bury my three frogs that had passed away this past winter. I had put them in the freezer to wait for a spring funeral when the ground would thaw, but with the busyness of life, I had yet to give them a proper burial, until this morning when Josh placed their little frozen ziplocked bodies on the counter and said, "Do it now." I put them together in a soft paper towel bed, we each said kind words and buried them properly.

I said "oh my gosh" and Scott quickly came over to the computer to see what you'd blogged. I won't tell you what he said, but it had to do with fertilizing the garden. You kept them in the freezer since last winter?? Scott said you're a city girl! ...so be honest, did you forget they were in the freezer?

I didn't forget them, but I sure didn't bury them in proper timing... lame & sad I know. It just goes to show how out of balance life can get and how much I needed to simplify my life. I wish I could be at your place this week xoxoxox
