Tennessee Wednesday, Part 2

We had some downtime today with the weather not being in our favor. I was going through some old photos on my computer and came across this one of Larry and me. Oh, the early days of the open road and the wind in our hair. Larry looked liked such a rebel on his Honda Shadow. It would give me chills every time I heard the roar of the engine coming around the bend to pick me up. We would ride for hours and then stop at the local gas station for a .25¢ Icee. As I write this, a lump comes to my throat and a tear to my eye. I often jump on my mountain bike and ride around the neighborhood and re-live those glory days. Of course it’s not the same, but every ounce in awhile a wiff of Larry’s Stetson cologne will fill my nostrils and I’m once again transported on to that Hog holding on tight to Larry’s waist :)

In celebration of this memory, the first 5 people to comment on this blog entry will receive an Icee on me!

Thanks for the Icee Brenda. That is so sweet of you to think of us while you're out there!

We love you Brenda! Sorry we abused your password! We won't do it again. We just had to do something! You also have such a good attitude about these things. Thanks for having a sense of humor! Have fun! Thanks for the instant message, it made me laugh!

What a sweet picture! You guys are so cute! And no worries about the Icee, all I do is sit at home and bake. I will take you up on that 'round July or August. Haha.

It's a good thing to know that while I have gone to Tennessee, you guys are surely going to Hell. Nice April Fools joke... This reeks of Josh & Lindsay. Game on all of you at Pebbles. Be fearful!
Becky said you have both outdone yourself and sound quite like me.

PS. Do I still qualify for an Icee even if it's a fake memory & not written by me?

Hey mom you and dad look pretty cute! I can't believe you've never shared those stories with me. Is that the same bike he would push to the end of his street so grandpa and grandma wouldn't know he was leaving when he was grounded?

I may not be one of the first five comments, but I will still take you up on one. I like 7-11 Slurpee's better or a snow cone from the snowie shack!
