Scrapbook USA was this weekend, up in Sandy. Friday 9 AM to midnight and all day Saturday. The time went by very fast this time because we were very busy the whole day. The one thing I like about the show is you get to meet so many scrapbookers. They really are fun people. After doing this for so many years, I recognize a lot of people. I may not know their names, but I know their faces.
Saturday was Birrell day. All of the girls came up and helped out. We gave Brenda the day off because she hardly gets one, so she spent the day with Conrad. Before I knew it, the show was done. Paul, Ransom and AJ (Lindsey’s friend) came up to help take down. Within an hour, we were loaded up and on the road. That is one of the best feelings, pulling out of the convention center until the next show in 6 months. It takes a lot of work to pull off but the customers seem to enjoy themselves. Thanks to Natasha, Amy & Audrey. Then we celebrated and went out to Macaroni Grill for dinner... it's tradition. We gather together, have a great meal, tell funny stories and relax. Everyone was pretty tired. All together, it really is a fun weekend.

Everyone's memories:
Kelsie was way tired & ornery in the morning... but perked up when she found her wallet. Dad trying to figure out his iphone to get updates on the BYU game. Abby has no memories, she is just glad it is over and she can get back to hanging out with her friends. No one ever gets mad at Dad. Mom calls often to check in... If Dad doesn't answer, then she calls everyone until someone does answer... she should just know we are busy. Connecting our doodling on the tablecloth. BYU won!

true, true, glad it is over. it is incredible to me that we still don't have this thing down. we learn new tips and tricks each time to make the show that much better! it was great though to see our great customers there!
