Today I stayed home with my cold that I have not taken ownership of. I am never sick. Jack stayed with Abby and I to play in the backyard. 55 degrees in February? Crazy warm. After a while, I made him a puppy bed on the kitchen floor and he snuggled in for a good nap. Abby cleaned out a few kitchen cupboards, always so willing to throw away.
Such a clean and tidy one she is. We found the Foodsaver and I quickly sealed up our dehydrated fruits and vegetables and even trout from the summer... Felt so good to get a project done and in this case, food tucked away for future hard times.
