Christmas Party

I am learning that family traditions can't be set in stone. We have to always be ready to let some go, while embracing the new as family dynamics change. The new one we picked up was our adult party. Yep. Everyone got babysitters for their little ones. True. It was strange without them underfoot and their moms, especially, commented how weird it was not to have them throughout the evening. Kelsie and Abby decorated the table beautifully and everyone brought something for dinner. We made a delicious beef tenderloin dinner and went late night bowling and had a great time just being together with all of our high scores, low scores and gutter balls. This was definitely a do again a lot more kind of thing...
