gingerbread houses

We love to decorate gingerbread houses. Usually we make them out of graham crackers, but this year we used rice krispie treats... which ended up being pretty cool (and yummy) when they were molded into homes. We had plenty of candy, even after everyone snacked on their favorites. Afterwards, Larry and Tyler were the judges, who remained impartial (which means they didn't really want to decorate). Conrtad helped judge and said he won, even though his snowman kept falling on it's side and sleeping :)

Wow! I love the creativity shown on these beautiful houses. Love the little details. Great job!

I can see a major sugar rush! Looks like the "snow" was falling heavily on all the ginger bread houses (or should I say rice-krispie houses:) No way I could judge them either. I can picture Larry quietly looking on... The best part would be taking the houses home and gradually nibbling on them throughout the holiday.
