After a somewhat lazy morning, we went over to Larry's Mom & Dad's in the afternoon for a BBQ and swim. It's been our third year in a row of cooler weather for Memorial Day, but I have loved it... it will get too hot soon enough. Katie did not feel good, so Ransom stayed home to take care of her and Conrad came with us to play and swim, which he did, spending 100% of his time in the pool. Ashlee was a very shriveled up, good sport to watch over him in the pool :)
This day is special and we know as we spend time with our loved ones, that there are many who are away from theirs as they fight for our freedoms and protect our county. Our thoughts are with them and their families, along with our prayers and much gratitude.
From it's very beginning, America is the land of the FREE because of the BRAVE...

Sounds like you all had a nice family day. That Conrad is a fish. He's gonna love is little pool this summer. I know you're busy getting ready for Nana's visit. We send our love.
