No School

Yesterday Ransom brought over his spiffy new blue truck that he has great plans for... it is true about boys and their toys. I had to experiment and figure out how to age wood shelves quickly for our show display. Thank goodness all the odd ball cans of paint & stains somehow worked, though it did clash with the smell of a good dinner that the kids all pitched in to make. With the help of Ashlee's acting abilities, we experimented to see if it was easier to act out comedy, drama or love?

Today is Martin Luther King Day. No school. Kids slept in. We packed up the crate and finished the last of the last minute touches, though I am quite sure there may be a few more tomorrow. We went to go see Marley & Me, only to come home because power outage = no movie. We made BLT's and watched House with our Ben & Jerry's :)
