Growing up in a home filled with girls is completely different than a home filled with boys, unless they are the men that love my girls. Then they end up doing things sometimes that may be borderline girlie but it makes us love them that much more.
Traditions come and go, but one that has continued is our Love Dinner, started when they were way little. It is really just an extra nice Sunday dinner, but the difference lies mostly in the much sought after invitation. Yes, I am running late this year, this being the last day of February. Tonight we ate sticky baby back ribs. Katie was somewhat devastated with the menu (not a fan) and we made sure she was surrounded by everything raspberry. Larry made a new yummy recipe 'blood orange lemonade'. Afterwards, we played Love Bingo, the Thimble Game and Celebrity. Conrad kept busy playing with my tissue paper flower decorations, falling on them over and over again with uncontrollable laughter.
I hope through all these times together that our children will always feel loved by Larry and I. No matter the mistakes we all make, I pray we will always be a family that is quick to forgive and unconditionally love.

I agree, what a beautiful table setting. I know your girls look forward to this dinner and receiving their invitations each year. Yes, girls are so different than boys...those sons in law know they are loved too!
