Wedding Luncheon Apples

Where would we be without family? I can't count the number of projects we (generally me) have done where they just pitch in and help. And it usually always is a good time or at least a good or sometimes miserable memory to look back on. And we smile. Tonight we all got together and helped make Lindsey's Caramel Apples with white fondant and dusted with cinnamon & sugar. Larry announced that if we got it done by 9pm, Lindsey would get us a treat. We were done at 8:58pm. Shakes are a good motivator. She wants to put one on each plate at the wedding luncheon. One of the best things about some of these wedding projects is that we get to spend time with Tyler and get to know him better. He fits us. We are good to go... 3 more days. Becky is flying in on Wednesday 4:10pm. Did I mention she can't get here soon enough?

The Wedding Countdown Begins...

Sunday night Larry's Mom and Dad came over for Baby Back Ribs and Cheesy Potatoes. It's always good to have them over. Afterwards, we visited around the table while the kids pitched in to help finish the never-ending flags for the pies. It was a good time and Lindsey is so glad they are done!
