Buried...

A box a day is all that Aletta, our bookkeeper asks. Get rid of it! It seems like everything we don't know what to do with as we clean out the basement of Pebbles ends up in my office... Loads of it. I should feel overwhelmed when I look at them, but instead I feel quite at home. Sad huh? Sometimes when I don't know what to do with something, I just move it from place to place for years... it almost becomes family. I think there are some things that simply do not have a home. Is that possible? With luck, I should be done by early Spring.

An Early Christmas

Christmas came early for me this year when the kids volunteered to pass out our thankful newsletters to the neighbors last night. The only hiccup was when Kelsie & Abby came home and said they weren't sure where the Smith's newsletter went to :) Thanks to our kids for taking such good care of me and Dad!

I couldn't say no...

Ashlee had this idea to go to the Christmas lighting ceremony at the Orem City Center last night. I think I tried just about everything I could think of to get out of it. But we bundled up and went. Wish we had bundled up more... it was freezing! Paul brought clothes and blankets for the needy and we sang Christmas songs until the countdown of the lights began. I am glad I went to be with Ashlee. Paul's face was priceless... he love's his Ashlee!
