Abby's School Blessing

It's tradition. Larry gave Abby a Father's blessing tonight and blessed her with strength and good health to begin this next school year... along with a loving heart, learning mind, a desire to be a good example to others and a knowledge of the love our Heavenly Father and her family has for her. Our baby is going into ninth grade. How is this possible? But the song always plays in my head, 'Always my baby you'll be'. We all know as parents, that our children will always be our babies no matter how old or independent they become. Being parents has brought us the greatest joy in our lives and I thank the Lord for them each day:)

Sleepover in the Trailer

To wrap up summer, the girls spent their last night of freedom in the trailer watching a movie and sleeping. School starts on Thursday which will surely bring more structure to our lives... it always takes us awhile to get use to regular rise & shines, sack lunches, homework and earlier bedtimes.
