Four Square in the Rain

Memorial Day Weekend and it's raining. Tonight after dinner, we played four square in the rain until we were soaking wet. We love summertime rain! I could smell the saltiness of worms in the air as they make their way to the sidewalks and had an urge to save them all. Afterwards, we had to catch the Bigelow rabbit in our backyard and put him back in his cage... not as easy as it may seem :)

Laurel Sunday

It was a busy day for Kelsie at church today. She had to give a talk about the Young Women's theme found in Timothy 4:12. It says, “Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” She spoke very sincerely and was very animated with her hands. She seemed completely at ease and giggled when they had to lower the podium so we could see her and she even waved and said hi to Brother Bulkley. It was one of those talks that I will remember always :)

The Fathers of the graduating seniors spoke in Young Women's today. Larry put is arm around Kelsie and the different phases of life she has been through so far and how he felt about her. It was very tender and funny and he had us laughing and crying at the same time. Today has been such a good day, with our focus and thoughts on Kelsie as she begins a new season in life.
