American Idol Finale

Thank goodness for Tivo. When we got home from church tonight, it was all about American Idol. The squealing began with Kelsie, when Kris sang with Keith Urban and didn't stop until they announced Kris as the winner... we did think it would be Adam but were hoping for Kris . We were happily surprised he won!

It is strange how Kelsie could scream and get excited, but the moment I sang along with Queen, I get the 'Mom' in the 'stop it' tone. I sang along with Santana and the girls were surprised I knew the words. I sang along with Rod Stewart and they were clearly disturbed. I loved to see the singers and groups from years past! We are all getting older :)

Handing Out Cookies

Tonight for church our Young Women all brought over cookies. We arranged an assortment on plates and walked the neighborhood to hand them out to families we wanted to thank, families we wanted to lift and new families we wanted to get to know. As it was, many families weren't home, so we left them on their porches with a note and continued walking :)
