The Hunt

We divide into two teams. One hides, one seeks. This year, the camo colors made it extra tricky to find the eggs. We don't plan on eating the eggs as they all get pretty trashed during the hunt... by the more aggressive family members. Every so often we shout out our count of collected eggs...still 13 more to find! Sometimes we think we are outdoing ourselves when we hide them, but we always find them... either on Easter or sometime in the Spring when we do our
gardening :)

Easter Cupcakes

Easter just doesn't seem complete without our Easter cupcakes. This is Conrad's first year being our cupcake helper and he did a perfectly excellent messy job...tasting along the way. All was fine until I had a cupcake in hand... Hmmm. Before I knew it, I shoved a cupcake in Josh's face, which abruptly ended the fun, according to the rest of the family. The boundary of appropriateness was crossed, once again by me... but I couldn't help it. Honest.

Dipping Eggs

Are you ever too old to dip eggs? NEVER! This year Larry got Camo colors... sage greens, browns & grays... great colors for hiding in the backyard. I told the girls that if their Dad had his way, he would only dye a dozen eggs between the seven of us. They said that he wouldn't even be dipping... so true! I, on the other hand believe that everyone should have their own dozen to color... it is after all an easter craft, complete with it's very own carton :)
