Kelsie & Josh Wintertime 2008

The days are winding down... 2 days left and Josh will be heading back to Michigan. They sure went by quickly. We have all enjoyed having him with us and we are glad he is a part of our lives. Our family will miss him. Kelsie is looking forward to going out there in February... just six short weeks we tell her. Six long weeks she replies. While it's true they are young and no one knows what the future will bring, it has been amazing to watch their relationship grow into love these past five months and see the transformation in both of them. Life is good :)

Shooting Shotguns

Shooting Shotguns is just plain cool. Something about blowing up pumpkins, gingerbread houses, bottles & lightbulbs, clay pigeons, stuffed animals (which almost seems cruel)... Before throwing anything away now, we look at it through new eyes and place it in our shotgun box. It's not that our 'white trash' place up squaw peak trail is our favorite, it's just close by. Today it was surprisingly pristine with a good amount of snow covering the garbage until spring.
