IKEA

Today Kris, Ash, Conrad and I went to IKEA to check it out. It's bigger then huge. I must be in love with this store as we were there 4 hours... unbelievable for me as a non-shopper. We found a nifty high chair for Conrad and fluffy soft down-comforters for Abby and Larry & I. I already put it on our bed to surprise him :) Conrad had a great time pushing the cart everywhere. He definitely needs something with wheels for Christmas.

A Cleaning Get Together

This morning we met at Brenda Sederberg's and spent time visiting and deep cleaning her kitchen. I think I can speak for each one of us who is so blessed to be a part of her life at this time as we help take care of some of her daily needs. Brenda has MS and is now in her wheelchair all the time.

I have never met anyone with such goodness as Brenda. I look at life differently just by being around her and seeing how she handles what life brings. Through Brenda I have learned that while we don't always have control over what life brings us, we do have control over our attitudes and how we deal with these challenges. I pray that I would be like her. I look forward to Tuesdays when I get to spend time with her... it's always the best part of my day.
